WOLFCHANT nace a comienzos del 2003 en la ciudad de St. Oswald/ Lower Bavaria (Alemania) su primera formación se componía así:

Lokhi (vocales)
Gaahnt (bajo)
Skaahl (gitarra.)
Norgahd (bateria).

Sobre este primer demo "The Fangs Of The Southern Death", que fue publicado en el 2004, podemos decir que se trata de un sonido en el cual convergen finamente influencias Death y Dark Metal.
